i sent an email to some mailing lists and a couple of days ago i got a phone call from a member of one of the mailing lists.. she was interested with my accessories and asked me to make some set of accessories for a wedding party that she would be attending on the following weekend.. so i said i would try and make her some of my creations that would probably fit her kebaya… there were two kebayas actually… one of it was blue.. *i imagined it as pale blue* with pale pink flowers… the other was red.. she said it was bright red, but later on she said it was maroon red like clarins compact powder box… it’s a real challenge for me, since i had to finish it in a matter of two days… and i never made a custom-made accessories before.. she was interested with my "cubicle blue bracelet" and asked to have an all blue bracelet – for those who don’t recognized the bracelet i was talking about, i used blue and transparent crystals for the cubicle blue bracelet… so i made a long red earring for the red kebaya, it was actually very simple, but i think it was cute.. i never used a red bead before, and i liked it.. i think i’ll make one for myself ^_^ and it was also the first time that i made a loop with such a small bead.. 4 mm bead.. and i could do it… ha3… so happy… but when it comes to tear-shaped beads… i realized that i had so much things that i need to learn… i found a picture of a necklace and earrings that used this kind of beads, and it was astonishing.. geez… i wonder where i can learn that techniques… after the red earrings, i continued my work to the blue set.. she asked a full set of blue-ish accessories, so i made a necklace, earring and bracelet using the blue cubicle beads.. the result ? it was too simple, even for me… but i was so tired and i already promised to send her the pictures that day, so i finally did… and i was not surprised that she said that it was too simple.. ^_^ but it was actually surprising that now she said that the colour was rather greenish and it wasn’t the colour that she wanted… *sigh* well she was the one that pointed the picture… hehehe. but she was the customer anyway.. so i said i’ll see what i could do and she was expecting to see my new creations the next morning.. it was kinda stressful for a while, coz i didn’t know what i would make… and i had to prepare some things for my bazaar too.. finally, after consulting with my sis and mom, i made a new set.. an earring and a necklace, using blue and white pearls… i made it until around 12 that my hands were really really tired *and kinda hurt actually* and the next morning i was asleep all the way through my office coz i was so sleepy…. but it was worth it though… she liked this new set and decided to buy the blue and white set, and the red earrings… ^_^ though it was not much, but i was quite satisfied… hihihi.. thx rima for the order… she actually asked for a ring too.. well i’ve never made a ring before.. i think i have to learn to make a ring too… ^_^
