ordered by preference (as per today) :D

1) Benefit Silky Finish Lipstick – £12

lots of good review, and some even said it’s better than mac slimshine… that’s enough reason for me to crave for this item. admittedly, i haven’t got the chance to try mac slimshine myself *so sad* but when i heard that this one’s even better.. i want it!! i’m just worried about the price, which is far more expensive than the original price in US *ga-rela-dot-com* i wonder if this brand is available at the many dfs shops at the airports, which is probably a bit cheaper? *puppy eyes*

2) Bobbi Brown Pot Rouge – £16

today, i’ve tried applying a very small amount of this at the back of my hand, just because i’m curious. i mean, i’ve heard lots of people saying how great it is etc. and i’m so in love! i’ve only tried one colour, unfortunately, so i can’t say much about this. but the one i tried, powder pink, seems to be really really pigmented… omg. i want one of this! i think it’s quite pricey, so i won’t be able to buy two jars of these! :( so i have to be extra pickie..

3) Mini Bourjois Eye Shadows – £2.99 each

can’t find a pic.. sorry :)

the only thing stopping me from grabbing these until today was the fact that i want the turqoise or emerald green one, which look a bit similar to my PAC loose e/s at home… hmmm….

4) Bourjois D’un Coup de Pinceau – £6.5

been wondering whether i should buy this, or look around at other concelears from other brands. so i’m currently postponing my concealer shopping, until i’m really sure what i should pick :)

5) Maybelline Great Lash Mascara – £4.99

although there’s a new mascara called define-a-lash ( with a pink brush! ), but i prefer to try this one first, as it receives so many raves and great reviews. it is also said to be #1 mascara in america, based on AC Nielsen unit sales, which inevitably adds to my curiosity.

6) Ruby & Millie Sheer Base – £16

*pic missing* at first i was not at all impressed at the retractable brush design, but when i applied it to the back of my hand, and the product seems to be really lightweight and natural-looking… very nice. but it’s quite expensive, at least for me :(

7) Ruby & Millie Blush On – £10.50

can’t find a pic.. sorry :)

i’ve tried this too, and i think the texture is very refined, and it’s really pigmented too! again, a bit pricey for me, as i normally wear revlon, which is such a cheapo compared to R&M hehe.. i’ve been considering to buy this, right before i found bbpr, so this is not on the top of my wish list currently.

8) Stila Convertible Color

i think i’ve seen a stila somewhere here.. but can’t really remember whether it was just an imagination or i really did see a stila counter.

8) Stila High Shine Lipstick / LipGlaze

these are the least i wish to buy. not because they’re not georgous. cause i’m such a sucker for cute packaging, and stila (all stila products) offers really really cute packaging :( but simply because they’re quite expensive :(

i know.. i know it’s quite a long list. but i promise i won’t buy all of the items above. probably just one or two.. or three? :D

skin care wish list

here’s what i did when i had nothing to do at home yesterday morning. xixi.. i listed some of my beauty wish list, and make a collage of them in photoshop… this is only part 1, the skin care wish list.. it’s all about skin food today, since i received so many reviews stating they’re really great. i think i’ll give one or two products a try to see if they suit my skin. just hope that i don’t fall so deeply in love with them *a good thing on one hand, but a really bad thing for my wallet*

i remember when i was in my 6th and 7th year of college. my best friend, miss o, and myself was a true addict of the face shop products. we were so in love with their products and *of course* cute packaging, we would go there every week, and purchase at least one product! we were in such a crazed state, that not only the sales assistants but even the store manager knew us quite well! hahaha..

and word said, skin food’s opening a new branch at TA this month. hmm… i really want to wait, in case they have special promo there or something.. plus, it’s one mall that i visit in quite a regular basis. but can i resist the urge to grab some of them first at their other stores?

1. snow tea eye serum

although i managed to put this on no 1, it’s not exactly my no 1 priority. in fact, it’s at the bottom of my list, or second bottom or something. but people say it does a great job in camouflaging the puffy eyes and dark circles, so i guess it’s worth to try when i have saved quite some extra money…

2. peach sake pore serum

this is my currently no 1 priority. after i read lots of great reviews about them *and the fact that this is also skin food’s best seller product*, i looked at myself at the mirror the other night.. and if this product can do what it claims, or somehow camouflage my pores, then i really need this, and i need it fast! what’s more, it also contains vitamin c, which is well-known antioxidant to lighten skin tones.

3. green tea pre makeup gel

i’m dying for a makeup base right now, and although this one is not exactly a makeup base, i think it’s an interesting product to try out. the website claims to give makeup an ultra-matte finish…

4. peach sake pore minimizing base

as i said i want to buy a makeup base.. but i haven’t seen this on person, so i don’t know whether its colour suits my skin tone.

5. black sesame hot mask

this is to detoxify and cleanse the dirts or makeup leftovers off the skin. quite some people have tried many kind of TSF masks, and most say they’re doing a great job. another interesting product..

6. black sugar wash off mask

thick as it is, they say it’s effective to remove blackheads… hmmm..

honestly, i don’t know when i’ll have extra money to be able to buy all of these… but a girl can dream, right? and i really wish i could go to korea, as everything is at half price!!! *all dreamy-eyed*

as i have said earlier, this is the part 1 of my beauty wish list. part 2 is, of course, makeup wish list. i’ve made them alright yesterday, but things have changed this morning, as i went lipstick-hunting with martha last evening. so i guess i’ll make some new wish list later! xixi..

Posted in Beauty Hysteria, Lippies, Mineral Make Up, Wish List by angela on April 3, 2008
having no task at hand for the past one and a half week, i’ve spent my time googling and reading beauty blogs!! at the bright side, i get to know lots of cute *and yummy-looking* products. too bad that most of them are not available here in indonesia! being a lip gloss-aholic, i’ve caught eyes with lots of pretty lip glosses and other lip products :

* Crazy Rumors coffee and tea lip balms. i would prefer a tube of vaseline petroleum jelly to lip balms, but these lip balms are totally adorable! can you imagine having your lips tasted like amaretto, mocha, or french vanilla!

* and can you imagine having a lip balm that tastes just like your favourite Ben & Jerry ice cream! and packaged just like the BJ ice cream pint! this is certainly a guilt-free product to crave!

* or ones that taste like Hershey chocolate in vintage-inspired tins!

* E.L.F Cosmetics had me fell head over heels with the Earth Rose lip element. i’ve been dying to buy a peachy-orange lip gloss, since i saw carly smithson in yesterday’s performance of american idol. and this E.L.F lip element really got me! i think i need to go grab something in similar color this weekend, or else!

* and lots of high-end brands lip glosses in simple yet elegant tubes…

* and also korean products with packagings as cute as always…. but these korean products are the ones that i’d likely to buy coz they’re widely available here. hix.. i want those cute lip glosses and balms above…

and those are just to name a few!!

in addition, i’m really eager to try some mineral makeups.. they’re widely available in other countries, even middle and low-end brands carry mineral makeup products.. i don’t know whether they’re widely available here!! i’ve heard loreal indonesia had carried mineral makeups for a while.. gotta check them ^^ and i’ve found this website Ciel Minerals plus, they are willing to give free samples.. hmm.. this is a must try!

and my wish list goes on and on as i continue the beauty blog-walking.. i don’t know whether it’s a good news, or a bad one! i guess it’s more likely the latter xixi.. *sigh*
